I am very excited to announce that Bruern now have their very own bees! We have two national beehives which are placed at the far end of the chicken coop. Myself and a wonderful team of staff members and Bruern parents, are in the process of learning all things bees and how to run a hive, or 2, organically! This has all been thanks to Christopher Miller, a Bruern parent himself, who began the trade of beekeeping over ten years ago. He has run his own apiaries in London and is a true gift to the trade! Overtime, we hope to be enjoying our very own delicious Bruern honey, as well as getting the boys involved (at a safe distance for the time being)!

There will also be an eco-council meeting next Wednesday at morning break, where boys will have an opportunity to learn more about the bees!
