Announcement
Goshawks have been creating their own extended metaphor poems this week in English lessons. Henry AM produced this wonderfully dramatic piece, and has been awarded a Headmaster's commendation for his work.
Well done, Henry AM!

A volcano is a god surging and spewing
out lava through cracks out of his body.
He swallows up cities as if they were profiteroles,
his tongue is a skyscraper
his slobber red hot lava.
After his active point he lays down like a lazy dog,
having a long slumber.
