It has been a real pleasure to see the Bruern Abbey Senior School full of life again. I have been mightily impressed with the approach of both new and returning boys in ensuring a calm and mature start to the new academic year. There has already been a flurry of activity, in addition to the new and 'old' boys settling in to their new timetables and the boys were also fully engaged in First Aid training.
In a nutshell, the boys have begun preparing for the camp out, the Art block has housed an art display for the new joiner's parents, 'graffiti' art was a firm favourite outside in the warm evening weather as was football. A winter pud in the form of Blackberry & Apple crumble may not have suited the weather but was a welcome treat to enjoy as we watched the sunset over the Chilton Hills.
