Over 90 boys took part in the junior and senior tennis tournaments over the past two weeks. It has been a busy old time getting all the matches played but we have had a lot of fun in the process. The court-side support and encouragement has been superb; winners have been congratulated and losers commiserated in equal measure. Boys have learned the hard way how to lose; it has been an experience in developing resilience for some.
Some enthralling tennis has been display, especially in the finals that took place on Wednesday. Kit T. beat Felix P. in the juniors; Pierce G. beat Archer F. in the Lower Sixth final; Lucas D. beat Theo R. in the Upper Sixth final. We also played Lucas D v Pierce G in a senior final, which Lucas D won.
Overall, great involvement, lots of fun and learning and some great tennis!
