The 12k's of Christmas
Bruern Abbey Senior School embarked on their 12km sponsored walk in the snowy Buckinghamshire countryside. Wrapped up warm, the boys, supporters and dogs set off towards Ashendon in good spirits. After a tough climb to Ashendon the boys were refreshed at Jasper J's house - where they celebrated his birthday! After our wonderful 'party team' had refuelled the group, they headed across to Dorton gaining speed downhill until they reached the lunch stop [thank you Sonny F's family]. After being warmed up by the fire pit this gave the boys the energy that was needed to get up the hill to Brill! At this point the team was joined by Headmaster, Mr Floyd and Bellevue Education Director, Mr Davies so after taking on the views, the boys were then led by their intrepid explorer extraordinaire, Mr Walker, back to Chilton base camp where they were met with the support team of parents and helpers alike - it was a welcome sight to be back home. We have raised over £700 and the page is still open for which we are grateful of all your support.
