We travelled to Ashfold and the weather was certainly on our side. A great site to see the boys in their whites and ready for the first match of the season. We went out to bat first and scored a respectable 99 all out in our 20 overs. Some good running between the wickets allowing us to take advantage of the quick singles. Our bowling and fielding was accurate and the boys all encouraged each other with everyone bowling at least 2 overs each. A special mention to Toby B who took 2 wickets in his first ever over that he bowled.
The game was finished in a friendly tie. Both teams showed great sportsmanship and appreciation of good play amongst both sides. Great work chaps.
