Bruern hosted Kingham Hill for the first time. Our 1st XI were at BSA on a very chilly overcast day. With another successful toss Oliver F decided to bat this week. Max M and Will B strolled out to the middle to set the tone for the innings. A slow and steady approach was taken as we got to 20 off the first 7 overs without losing a wicket. With a good platform set we piled on the runs with Max B, Chris E and Bruno T all batting around the ever so steady Max M to get us to 97. Kingham lost early wickets to Oliver F and Rupert N and some tidy overs from Tom S really put the visitors under pressure. It went down to the final over with 11 needed with 1 wicket left when Will B bowled a superb delivery and a great catch by wicket keeper Alex DB saw Bruern victorious.
