With the home pitches a little wet we travelled away to Abingdon Prep. Hoping to pick up from where we left off after a fantastic first half of the term The Gentlemen’s XI were keen despite the wind and sideways rain. Playing on a much larger pitch than usual a real test of fitness and moving the ball quickly. Unfortunately, Abingdon were a strong opposition and moved the ball well and made the most of the space in the pitch. We came home with a 5-0 loss. We hope to come back fighting next week and back onto our winning streak.
