On Thursday, 4 of the golf squad travelled to Cothill for the opening fixture of the year. The match was played in a match play format, where the boys play against a member of the opposition 1 on 1, scoring the holes up or down or a half depending on the number of shots had on that hole. Think Sunday of the Ryder cup!
Cothill were a strong opposition, and each match was closely contested, with the final score being 2-2, that’s 2 matches won and 2 lost.
Well done to Will B, Frank J, Louis S and G for being selected and performing so well. For some of the boys this was their first experience of a golf fixture!
