The Colts Green team opened up their rugby season with a tri-fixture at Beachborough, against some well-matched opposition in the form of Beachborough and Milton Keynes Prep.
After an unfortunate narrow loss to Beachborough in the first game, the boys bounced back to eventually draw with Milton Keynes Prep. It was brilliant to see the boys focusing on the two things that we'd asked them to; teamwork and enjoying themselves! The boys strung passes together in some exciting passages of play throughout the matches and worked for each other by putting in some great hits, creating a lot of opportunities by counter-rucking and generally supporting each other in attacking play too. We are looking forward to seeing them develop over this half-term and next in their ability and strength as a team.
